The 2008 Great Ponds Golf Challenge was a success and benefited the conservation efforts of Sturbridge's lakes, including Big Alum, Cedar Lake, Leadmine Pond, South Pond, and Walker Pond. There will not be a "Great Ponds' Golf Tournament" in the summer of 2009.  The Big Alum Lake Association has held its own golf events in the past, and if plans for such an activity should develop this year we will be sure to let everyone know.  Thank you to our golfing members for the support they have always shown!
